The Nebraska MRSEC/Industry Workshop was held on January 31, 2006 at the Nebraska Union in Lincoln, Nebraska. The workshop focused on ongoing and developing research collaborations between industrial and university scientists and engineers.

The workshop provided a stimulating forum for recent research, technological developments, and discussion among leading industrial researchers and faculty, graduate students and research staff.

The morning schedule included overview talks on research projects and facilities in the Nebraska MRSEC, as well as tech transfer and technology development in Nebraska.

Advances in magnetic nanostructures and spintronics were highlighted by visiting scientists in parallel ongoing focused sessions in the afternoon:
