About Us

We are 4 high school teachers from Southeast Nebraska who have participated in the MRSEC summer research program 2006 at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. This "Summer Research Experience for Teachers" program (RET) invites each summer, two or more high school or middle school teachers to participate in different research programs. In addition to the summer experience, MRSEC members visit the teachers' classes during the following school year to show students examples of how materials research affects their lives.

In addition to working in different research groups, we used the time to develope these pages. This website will help you find lessons, activities, and resources for implementing Nanoscience into your 9-12 curriculums.
It is our hope that you will find these pages helpful.
